Biography

Dr Hajra Adil is a UK trained and qualified Family Medicine Consultant with over 15 years’ experience working in the NHS.

After completing her primary medical degree from the University of Leeds (UK), she completed her foundation years and then pursued her training in family medicine in Surrey. She has been working in Family Medicine for over 10 years, managing patients in local clinics & also looking after urgent care patients in hospitals in the London area such as Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. Having spent time in Asia, she has also worked at Raffles Hospital, one of the biggest hospitals in Singapore.

She sees patients of all ages and genders, and manages both acute and chronic conditions including Infections, Skin, Cardiovascular, Diabetes, Mental Health, Chronic Lung and Musculoskeletal conditions. She is also passionate about preventative medicine and spends time educating patients on how to manage their lifestyle and optimise their health.

Dr Adil has a special interest in Women’s health and has a diploma from the prestigious Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (RCOG). She is also a specialist in menopause care, having completed the Certificate in Post-Reproductive Health from RCOG and is a member of the British Menopause Society. She has expertise in prescribing Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) including body-identical HRT. Dr Adil has also been certified by the Faculty of Sexual & Reproductive Health (FSRH UK) to fit contraceptive coils including Mirena & Copper IUDs.
